Why North African Manufacturers Should Exhibit

Textile and fashion manufacturing plays a vital role in the socio-economic development of North Africa, driving industrialization, creating employment opportunities, and contributing to export-led growth strategies in the region. Due to this, it is a major source of employment, providing jobs for millions of people, particularly in countries like Morocco, Tunisia, and Egypt. Capabilities range from skilled labour in garment factories to managerial positions in textile production facilities.

About USAID

About Our Partners - USAID

The Trade Reform and Development in Egypt (TRADE) Activity is a five-year project funded by the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), as part of the bilateral agreement between the Government of Egypt (GoE) and the United States. USAID TRADE builds on decades of U.S. investments in Egyptian businesses and economic policy to substantially increase Egypt’s international trade by increasing exports from Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in six designated goods sectors, including Ready Made Garments. The project works with the GoE to expand exports and reduce trade barriers.

Meet the demand for North African Exhibitors

“Tutu Pikin is an affordable luxury lifestyle brand made in England but with its heritage proudly rooted in Africa. I've come to Source Fashion specifically to meet manufacturers around Africa, I want to produce with a manufacturer in Africa because the craftsmanship is phenomenal. It is just a dream come true to be able to find African exhibitors here and to actually see the goods in person is priceless.”
