Bangladesh is known for its low-cost labour, and it's responsible for 7.9% of global fashion manufacturing, employing over 4.4m people within the textile and garment manufacturing section. However, over the last 15 years, Bangladesh has made huge strides in eco-friendly production, with the development of over 200 certified ‘green factories’, that use technology and process development to minimize the environmental impact of production.

Source Fashion visitors include some of the largest brands and retailers in the UK and Europe, who bring their entire buying and procurement teams to the show to meet with new manufacturers and suppliers. Alongside this, Source Fashion also attracts smaller boutiques and independent fashion brands who are looking for manufacturers with lower MOQs.
