Ruby Smith
Textile artist and handweaver
Ruby Smith is a textile artist and handweaver based in London, working with wool, natural dyes, and hand embroidery. Her practice is informed by the history of textile craft, and traditional techniques, using felting and brushing to explore and utilise the properties of wool. Her work explores the interplay of light, colour, and tactility, considering how these qualities shape the perception and experience of woven surfaces.
