With the rise of the conscious consumer over the past decade, brands and retailers are going the extra mile to strengthen their ethical practices and help educate their customers about how they are tackling the industry wide challenges. Brands must strike a balance between providing good quality products within the customers price bracket, whilst at the same time reassuring their consumers about topics including – who is making the products they are buying, what processes they have in place to ensure that product is of the best quality and what they are doing to tackle their environmental impact.
