Indilisi was founded by Safia Minney, MBE & friends. She is the award-winning pioneer behind People Tree and Fashion Declares.

Indilisi is inspired by nature and our love of craft which we believe is essential to slowing down fashion and creating a more equitable distribution of wealth.

Our design ethos is to create timeless style, unique pieces that people will treasure, that will regenerates soil, ecosystems. communities and culture.  The collection is made in 100% certified organic cotton, handwoven, hand-embroidered, and hand-knit.

We care passionately about organic cotton farmers, the unsung heroes and stewards of our natural world. We work with artisans in Bangladesh, India, Nepal and Kenya.

Our design, production, and relationships promote slow fashion and the regeneration of soils, ecosystems, and communities.

We make some pieces made in surplus certified organic and Fairtrade cotton, made at social enterprise, FabricWorks in London. We sell surplus fabrics through Pigeon Wishes in Liverpool.
