Natural Fibre Company

Hall: Hall N1-N5 Stand: E3

From Farm to Yarn to Finished Garment

The Natural Fibre Company is an award winning spinning mill and fibre testing facility based in Launceston, Cornwall. We're specialists in small-batch, end-to-end fibre processing, transforming wool, alpaca, mohair and other natural fibres into premium-quality yarns.

Our processing services include scouring, carding, woollen and worsted spinning, and finishing, all carried out under one roof. This integrated approach ensures quality, traceability and a reduced carbon footprint. We can source fibre from British farms to provide traceability for your end product.

Passionate about natural fibres, we work closely with customers across the UK and worldwide. Through our own branded products as Blacker Yarns, we champion British wool, provenance and traceability, partnering with farmers and businesses to showcase the very best of UK manufacturing.

Combining traditional skills with an innovative approach, our team of engineers, technicians and specialist finishers have worked with more than 50 types of UK sheep breeds, including rare and specialist varieties.

We actively promote the benefits of British wool and support the farms that supply our fibre throughout the farm-to-fashion journey. Our collaborations include projects with John Smedley and the Campaign for Wool, including the acclaimed Duchy Wool Collection and Cornwall Sweater.
