Jasmine by Seba is an exclusively artisanal luxury handmade Indian clothing brand that focuses on promoting wearable art celebrating the artisans of India with the sole intention of promoting slow eco-friendly fashion, founded in 2019.
The Fabrics
We are dedicated to the promotion of slow handmade fashion that empowers traditional hand block techniques. We do this by selecting high quality, hand-spun, handwoven fabrics from communities in rural India. The wooden looms used are mostly situated within family homes and powered only by the loom operators, reducing the carbon footprint of fabric production while keeping overhead costs down for village artisan co-operatives. Ajrakh: Ajrakh, an exclusive block printing technique is said to be based on the theme of the universe where red resembles the earth, black space, blue the sky, and oceans with geometric designs as stars on it. Truly bringing down the soul of the universe on a piece of cloth.

Our very own in-house digitally printed Jasmine Collection: A collection always close to our heart as the brand got its name from the founder’s mother’s name. This collection is to all the mothers who are an epitome of selfless love and care just as the flower jasmine.
Our 'made to order' business model of curating custom made high quality handcrafted dresses online, though posed an initial challenge of sales online through our website due to high pricing, has managed to make over 500 purchases online through our website Jasminebyseba, and another 500 orders through our instagram page Jasminebyseba ig, with over 190K followers.
We are at present are providing our dresses online and offline to physical stores to two of the best well known multi designer stores in India namely Elan store India (Instagram) and Ogaan market (Instagram) to further expand our reach in the domestic market. These two are our current B2B clients in India.
We are also a part of the One District One Product (ODOP) initiative in collaboration with the Govt of India that focuses on promoting the culture, arts and crafts of India in the global market emphasising on exclusive products from various regions of the country.
We focus on expanding globally through a B2B and D2C approach with our special interest in the UK market, as there's no other country that gives more importance to one's culture, heritage and civilization in it's utmost pure form.
