ASU CLOTHING was set up in 1973 while ASU CLOTHING France was established in 2001. India was the start and ASU Clothing was the natural expansion made to service our European clients better and quicker. The factory has 90000 square feet with in-house facilities like production, sampling, cutting, washing, finishing & packing. 550 sewing machines from Juki, Pegasus, Siruba & Sunstar. Fabric department, 4 point system. Finishing & Packing, metal detection and a separate area for packing. Sampling department has 20 tailors. Cutting department, separate lines for woven & knits. Certifications we have are, SEDEX, WRAP, BSCI. We have a capacity of offering 75000 pieces per month. We specialize in both knits & woven. Our showroom / sales office in Paris allows us to show case our collections to our European customers rapidly and often. A team of 4 designers are based out of our Paris office, which are responsible for creating our women & children’s collections based on trends & client briefs. We create 6 main collections per year plus several express collections. We understand the needs of our customers to regularly see new developments without them having to travel to India. Our showroom serves as a work place for our clients to come and see our collection and create their own designs. Our collection & creativity is our strong point, as we are not pure manufacturers. The idea of opening the Paris office was to offer a ‘European Collection’ created in Paris. A strong point, besides being creative, is our quick deliveries. We are able to deliver in 8 to 10 weeks, hence we work in season. Being quick to market in today’s environment is essential. This was also our thinking when opening our Paris offices, constant new developments and being quick to market for deliveries.
