A Guide to Wool Processing: Finishing Stage

Natural Fibre Company Hall: National Gallery Stand: M16

There are five stages to processing raw fleece, turning it into premium quality yarns for hand knitting, machine knitting, crocheting and weaving garments and accessories for the home.

We provide a wide range of processing services and support to help our customers add value to their wool, mohair or alpaca. This is the Finishing and final stage where the winding, washing, reeling, drying, hanking, balling and banding magic takes place. We can supply the finished yarn as 100g Balls, Hanks/Skeins or Cones with paper bands, according to customer specifications and requirements.
