HERBAL FAB PROFILE
Herbal Fab was founded by Prashant Balar in 2008. In 2010, he was joined by his younger brother Kunal Balar, and together they began building the foundation of the company. Both started their careers in the Electronics / IT industry, but soon left their jobs in search of a more meaningful and satisfying path, and joined their family business.
Their family had been involved in conventional cotton textiles since the 1960s. However, after witnessing the environmental damage caused by hazardous chemicals used in conventional textile processing, they felt the need to create change and make a positive impact. This vision led to the birth of Herbal Fab, with a focus on sustainable and eco-friendly textiles.
In 2017, their cousin brother Aniket Solanki joined the company, and with his support the business expanded from fabric supply to a complete sustainable garment manufacturing setup. Today, Herbal Fab also operates a GOTS-certified and SEDEX-audited sewing factory, with the aim of providing a complete sustainable garmenting solution under one roof.
