Bangladesh is known for its low-cost labour, and it's responsible for 7.9% of global fashion manufacturing, employing over 4.4m people within the textile and garment manufacturing section. However, over the last 15 years, Bangladesh has made huge strides in eco-friendly production, with the development of over 200 certified ‘green factories’, that use technology and process development to minimize the environmental impact of production.

Source Fashion is a great fashion show, this is the second time we've attended and there will be even more John Lewis partners coming to visit the next one."
